All jewelry is handmade, and thus requires careful handling. Please treat it kindly. Store the jewelry safely either laying flat or in a jewelry box. We recommend storing necklaces or bracelets in a plastic bag with the chain or clasp zipped outside the bag to prevent pieces from getting tangled. This also helps with oxygenation and tarnish and is a great and easy way to travel with your jewelry. Do not store jewelry in bathrooms, as the increased moisture levels can cause metals to tarnish or age more quickly.
If you’d like to polish your brass jewelry, you can do so with lots of home remedies - including soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, or lemon juice and baking soda. Do not use chemical jewelry cleaners, especially on pieces with gemstones. Simply apply the soy sauce or cleaner of your choice on a paper towel and run the piece through your fingers or spot clean. Rinse with warm water.
For gold-plated pieces, do not use any chemical cleaners. A jewelry polishing cloth is recommended.
